Rules Dijkstra Hotels
In the regulations below you will find the most important house rules that apply within the Dijkstra Hotels for you and our safety. We ask that you respect and accept these rules. General rules
● All instructions from employees of this hotel, related to house rules, must be followed. Complaints can be reported to the management. The hotels employ people of flesh and blood who must be treated with respect, disrespectful or aggressive behavior is not accepted and you may be denied access to the hotel while the payment obligation remains in force.
● In case of fire, keep calm. Report a fire to reception and/or hit the nearest fire alarm. Never touch the fire detectors yourself, this can cause a malfunction or evacuation. If you cause a false malfunction or fire alarm, we will charge a fine of €150 and you may be denied access to the hotel.
● Leave the building immediately in the event of a general fire alarm.
● Never use the lift in the event of a fire.
● There are cameras in various places within the hotel, everyone who is in our hotel agrees to make recordings. In the event of calamities and/or incidents, these recordings can be shown to the authorities as supporting material.
● Lost and found items must be handed in at the reception
● Dijkstra Hotels is not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings.
● The management, the owner of this location and/or persons working for the hotel cannot be held liable for any injury and/or material or immaterial damage that visitors to the location may experience.
● It is not allowed to use emergency exits as normal entrances and exits, take hotel property outside the building. When property of the Dijkstra Hotels is intentionally damaged, one can be held liable for the repair and/or renewal costs.
● Damage, loss or destruction of property of the hotel leads to immediate removal, liability and/or reporting to the police.
● The use, trade or possession of narcotics (in any form) is prohibited. When using and dealing in drugs, the hotel management calls in the police and can proceed with removal without refund of payment.
● To use and/or take with you nitrous oxide during your visit to our hotel, we will confiscate nitrous oxide bottles and cartridges brought in and you will not receive them back.
● Causing nuisance to another, for example through loud music, obnoxious behavior or noise of any kind.
● It is not allowed to receive unregistered guests in the room.
● Stay in the room with more than the permitted number of people.
● The paid reception of guests in the room for sexual activities.
● Certain decoration, such as confetti, is not allowed in the hotel rooms. Ask at the reception if your decoration is allowed. Additional cleaning costs or technical defects as a result of this will be borne by the guest.
● It is absolutely forbidden to light candles/incense in connection with the fire alarm and fire hazard. (The security system is activated immediately). ●
Smoking is not allowed in the room. If we find that there is smoking in the room, we are forced to charge €100 cleaning costs + an extra overnight stay (in accordance with our own website). If the fire alarm goes off due to smoking in the room, this will be seen as causing a false fire alarm with an additional fine of €150.-.
In all cases not provided for in these regulations, the management of Dijkstra Hotels will decide
